Bancroft’s

Bancroft’s School was founded in 1737 as a day-school for local boys from a diverse range of backgrounds. They are now a co-educational independent day school for around a1000 pupils from 7 to 18 and an unashamedly aspirational school, devoted to scholarship and intellectual inquiry.

INTRODUCING A NEW WAY OF DISPLAYING TERMLY INFORMATION

Bancroft’s came to us with a problem; they had lots of exiting termly information to display and not enough room to do so. Their previous publication was crowded and text was hard to read. So, with the injection of some white space and clever coloured panels, we managed to include the same amount of information whilst making it appear more roomy. Introducing pull quotes, overlapping elements and lines all added to the visual interest and readability of the document. Placing the contents section on the front cover and utilising the back cover as editorial space allowed for more exciting articles to be given full pages with bigger images.
